CARES Food Pantry is in Farmington Hills, but our service area reaches 8 surrounding communities.
Since January,115 new families in need have signed up for monthly Food Pantry visits.
Those families are from all 8 cities served: Farmington, Farmington Hills, Southfield, Livonia, Northville, Novi, Redford Twp, and West Bloomfield. Without the support of businesses, individuals, and organizations, we would have to turn people away.
525 children benefited from Food Pantry visits during February alone.
Madelyn, a young mother of four, whose husband recently became unemployed, can’t feed her family, pay rent, utility bills and the car payment on her salary alone. “We’d be lost without the help we get from CARES,” she says.
265 senior citizens over the age of 65 received food in March.
31,332 lbs. of food were distributed just in March alone!!
